We are searching for a Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform one or more EEGs/Long term video monitoring, Evoked Potentials or Polysomnography procedures according to facility policy and procedures. The Technologist will maintain patient safety during clinically significant events, and other related duties.

Responsibilities:

•   Perform routine Neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with ABRET/ACNS guidelines and ASET competencies and/or BRPT/AAST
•   Performs patient assessment as related to care such as electrode product allergies, movement restrictions, and cognitive function
•   Ensures electrode application in adherence with the International 10–20 System
•   Seeks exposure to educational opportunities to enhance professional growth and technical knowledge related to the brain or neuroanatomy, disease, and neurodiagnostic; practice to prepare for registry exam
•   Attend relevant courses, online courses, or case studies through journals/relevant publications
•   Documents patient information in patient’s electronic medical record according to hospital and departmental guidelines
•   Informs manager or designee of all patient/personal injury or unsafe situations, anticipated problems, and unusual situations
•   Communicates effectively with patient/family, department staff, physicians, and other health care professionals to promote quality patient care
•   Performs basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and contacts biomedical engineering when appropriate
•   
Requirements:

•   High school diploma or GED required
•   1-year electroneurodiagnostic experience inclusive of clinical rotations required
•   Graduation from an Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program will substitute for one (1) year of experience
