We’re searching for a Director of Cancer Center Administration, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will direct the Administrative and Clinical Service Line Programs at the Cancer Center, provide direction and oversight to the Cancer Center and its programs, and coordinate the various programs, resources, and personnel to achieve the output of a cost effective state-of-the-art, internationally recognized Children's Cancer Center and Hematology Service. This role helps set and achieve the Strategic Plan and maintain efficient and effective daily operations along with the goals of the hospital and Baylor College of Medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that strategic plans are developed, implemented, and evaluated systematically in line with parent institutions' strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate administrative resources, processes and services are provided proactively, user-friendly to support all Cancer Center activities including patient care, clinical research, basic research, and education.
  • Ensure the appropriate use and distribution of financial resources for all areas. Develop and implement revenue and expense budgets for parent institutions.  
  • Supervise Administrative Leadership in a manner that enhances them professionally, set clear role expectations and hold them accountable. Mentor and develop leadership skills and provide development opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure interests are coordinated with parent and external institutions to achieve results via collaborative efforts.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree Healthcare Administration or related field
  • 3 years' experience in healthcare administration
