We are searching for a Senior Corporate Governance Communications Specialist -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will serve as writer, editor, and content creator for internal and external communications for the Corporate Governance Team. This role helps assist the Corporate Governance Department in coordinating and facilitating all events that require the participation of the President & CEO. This includes writing scripts, working with photographers, writers, public relations, and event managers to ensure successful participation at any and all-important employee and hospital events.

Skills and Qualifications
•   Required a Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, healthcare, business, or related field 
•   Required 3 years of progressive, relevant experience; previous success leading initiatives as a member of an internal/multimedia communications, marketing, human resources, administration or similar team 
•   Healthcare experience preferred

Job Responsibilities
•   Plans, researches, writes, and edits internal and external deliverables for the Office of the CEO and Corporate Governance
•   Completes assigned, special and ad-hoc writing/editing assignments upon request
•   Consults with and advises Corporate Governance team as well as other key stakeholders, when appropriate, in the development of communication plans/strategies for programs, services, initiatives, and events; proactively plans and collaborates with Marketing, Public Relations, and Human Resources
•   Assists with editing and writing for other corporate, internal and executive communications, including global emails, intranet, letters, speeches, and talking points, as assigned
•   Provides support to the Corporate Governance team by proofreading and editing Board documents on an as needed basis
•   Actively supports organizational and departmental initiatives by participating in and demonstrating awareness of complex cross-functional teams/committees
•   Builds relationships with key stakeholders to remain abreast of important news, developments, and initiatives
