We are searching for a Financial & Special Projects Manager -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will develop and perform quantitative and qualitative assessments of current and potential financial, operational, clinical research, educational programs, market initiatives and may create proformas and business plans. This role carefully scrutinizes appropriate financial reports and recommends operational adjustments to assist with meeting departmental and hospital financial goals.

Responsibilities :

Develops methodology for assessments to be performed. Ensures appropriate data collection and analysis for the department

Meets with executives, physicians and other project sponsors, as appropriate, to understand the issues underlying the current or potential initiative and the type of assessments needed

Coordinates resources needed for completion of assigned projects. Includes managing and coordinating data, information and/or personnel

Manages the completion of projects/assessments

Monitors progress against plan and budget. When necessary, adjusts plan with approval of project sponsors

Summarizes results of assessments in writing (written and/or spreadsheet form) in a clear, concise manner

Assists in the development and monitoring of strategies and business plans

Participates in strategic planning and the development and refinement of joint initiatives across the system and various other healthcare related institutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or public health field required

4 years’ experience in a healthcare organization required

A master’s degree in a business, healthcare, or public health field may substitute for 2 years of experience
