We’re hunting for a Neurophysiology Systems Analyst, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will develop clinical/business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Texas Children's Integrated Delivery System. This role will investigate processes to meet end user needs within Texas Children's. Additionally, provide financial systems support, coordinate system upgrades, and provide other system support.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with internal core stakeholders to identify system issues and process needs, and ensures systems are being optimized.
  • Assists users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing and /or proposed systems.
  • Document the current state into future states of clinical/business processes.
  • Assists in vendor analysis and selection.
  • Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations.
  • Identifies system or applications needs.
  • Conducts analysis of current business practices, user needs and workflow processes.
  • Uses data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business/clinical operations.
  • Engages users in analysis and evaluation of functional models and prototypes; identify dependencies.
  • Supports business/clinical operations and serves as liaison to I.S. supporting continued system maintenance and optimization.
  • Works with I.S. and customers to perform functional configuration analysis for system implementations, on-going maintenance, and other projects.
  • Analyzes system problems and modifications.
  • Coordinates training of systems.

Skills & Requirements

  • Required H.S. Diploma or GED with a preferred bachelor's degree computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or nursing
  • Required REEGT - Reg Electroencephalogra Tech by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET)
  • 5 years Experience in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology 
  • 2 years Experience in healthcare operations and/or information systems
