We are searching for an Employee Health Manager with the Employee Health Clinic -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will manage daily clinical, operational, and personnel activities of Employee Health and to provide administrative support to the director. The nurse manager participates and coordinates in the delivery of high-quality patient care in Employee Health.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
  • Master’s degree in nursing, business, or healthcare-related field preferred
  • RN license from the Nurse Licensure Compact required
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • 4 years nursing experience required
  • Management/leadership experience specific to healthcare leadership, nursing administration, or other relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensures adequate medical care and rehabilitation of the occupationally ill or injured employee by providing a nursing assessment, appropriate intervention, and follow-up evaluation with return-to-work reporting, approval and completion of related documentation in a complete and cost-effective manner
  • Assists employees with appropriate management of their non-occupational illnesses or injuries with referrals and evaluations as needed
  • Ensures that a complete pre-placement health assessment is performed prior to employment to facilitate placing workers where they can perform their job tasks without endangering their health and safety or the health and safety of others
  • Oversees EH&W program administration including; FML program, Long Term Disability program, and Workers’ Compensation program
  • Ensures maintenance of employee medical records and oversees a reporting system that meets legal requirements and ensures continuity of care and confidentiality
  • Develops and collaborates with Director and other team members in designing and implementing appropriate and effective programs with employee training, as needed, to provide an optimum working environment
