We’re hunting for a Manager of People Analytics, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will provide leadership to the People Analytics team as it supports the HR function and business leaders in effective utilization 
of HR data and analytics to provide business intelligence and inform decision-making. People Analytics prepares reports, metrics, surveys, and workforce studies, and develops business intelligence tools. The team translates structured and unstructured employee, industry, and enterprise data into clear and compelling insights, leading to actionable recommendations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic direction to the people analytics function. Oversees the processes of the team and serves as expert on high-level issues.
  • Manages the day-to-day aspects and work of the people analytics function for the hospital system. Ensures that the work of the team meets departmental and organizational goals.
  • Manages team members and team activities by establishing guidelines for individual and team performance. Maintains responsibility for completion of work within the team and holds team members accountable regarding accomplishing job responsibilities. Provides performance coaching, developing, and appraising, and works with team members to identify opportunities to enhance their strengths and minimize limitations.
  • Serves as an internal consultant to leadership in evaluating policies, processes, and practices to ensure a positive return on people initiatives and the development of a workforce that supports the achievement of the organization’s strategic initiatives. Keeps current on functional, industry, and labor market trends and oversees external benchmark efforts to stay abreast of developments in the application and use of analytics and industry standards.


Skills & Requirements

  • Required bachelor's degree Human Resources Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Required 4 years professional experience in Human Resources, including applicable analysis and reporting experience. 
  • Preferred management and/or supervisory experience
  • Oracle Cloud HCM- reporting experience highly preferred 
  • Power BI experience preferred.
