We are searching for a Manager of Business Operations - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting to manage and lead the daily business and personnel activities and to provide administrative support to the Assistant Director. Oversees and optimizes the administrative and financial operations within the Perioperative Services department. This role ensures efficient management of capital processes, charge posting, implant management, and operating room (OR) scheduling. Collaborate with department leadership to develop and maintain a performance improvement infrastructure, assist with program development and maintain interdepartmental relationships. Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Lead the planning, budgeting, and tracking of capital equipment purchases for perioperative services.
•    Collaborate with clinical leadership, healthcare technology management and finance to evaluate capital needs and prioritize investments.
•    Supervise the accuracy and timeliness of surgical charge capture and posting.
•    Partner with coding, billing, and revenue cycle teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
•    Identify and implement process improvements to reduce missed or incorrect charges.
•    Oversee the tracking, usage, and replenishment of surgical implants.
•    Work with vendors and supply chain to manage implant contracts, pricing, and inventory levels.
•    Establishes staffing roles, schedules, and productivity guidelines according to department needs and budget.  Monitors throughout the year and revises as needed. Participates in job description development, interviewing, hiring and terminating the employee
•    Ensures the ongoing review and development of process improvements for ensuring patient safety, efficient patient flow, workflow, and patient/employee satisfaction
•    Coaches and develops staff using the performance management system. Ensures effective orientation and professional development for the team
Skills & Requirements
•    Required bachelor's degree; prefer master's degree
•    3 years of Business operations or experience in a healthcare environment required (i.e. hospital, outpatient clinic, or physician practice) with preferred previous leadership experience.
