We are searching for a Guest Services Representative -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the patient and family experience within a comprehensive guest services program that helps meet the unique needs of patients and families including providing directions and way finding, transportation and lodging assistance, as well as patient and family programming.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year experience in a healthcare or customer service setting
Responsibilities
Provides families with knowledge of parking options, lodging, and local resources as needed over the phone and at welcome desks
Supports families by creating awareness of services and resources available within hospital (Social Services, Family Advocacy, Child Life, Language Services, and Spiritual Care) and contacts appropriate departments to assist families
Rounds on patients and families to assess non-medical needs in the Emergency Center
Coordinates with loading dock to ensure patient packages are delivered or routed appropriately if patient discharged
May ensure laundry facilities are maintained and partners with facilities to ensure operational
Assists other Patient and Family Services staff team in implementing new patient experience initiatives for individual units and hospital-wide
Works with Ronald McDonald House to provide additional assistance to families of patients in intensive care units
Partners with other Patient and Family Services staff in providing pertinent information and/or special programs for patients, families, and staff
