We’re searching for an Oracle Applications Architect, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas and among the best in the nation. In this position, you'll organize and administer the configuration and development of Integrated Delivery Systems specific to Oracle fusion cloud and Oracle integration cloud and devise and design technical requirements of systems. You’ll also be charged with the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, programs and configurations in the delivery of systems.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•    Analyze and determine technical solutions for the Integrated Delivery System concerning compliance with regulatory agencies and the company strategic plan
•    Appraise effectiveness of systems flow, data usage, and manual or automated processes to identify ineffectiveness or inefficiency of the system
•    Control system configuration and development process by establishing standards, measuring work in process, interpreting results, and taking corrective action
•    Develop and administer the system configuration and development plan
•    Facilitate enterprise systems design and architecture
•    Review, synthesize, and summarize the technical components related to quarterly updates and patches for Oracle Cloud, providing recommendations to stakeholders, as appropriate
•    Develop documentation standards
•    Prepare program code documentation in compliance with standards
•    Control system operations by finding and correcting errors in the system
•    Coordinate development and maintenance programming activities with management, other Information Services personnel, users, or vendors during all phases of the system life cycle
•    Research, analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on and advocate for the selection of vendors, products, tools, services, protocols, infrastructure components, and standards that will help IS strategies
•    Participate in the development of a defined and structured data dictionary for usage with all implementation efforts and to provide a uniform understanding enterprise-wide of the data between interacting systems

Skills & Requirements
•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    Master’s degree in science, information systems or business preferred
•    3 years of major system design and implementation experience for Oracle Cloud Applications required
•    Project management or project leadership experience preferred
•    Knowledge of expert level of Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle Integration cloud system development techniques
•    Knowledge of relational databases, appropriate programming languages, data structures, associated computer hardware, computer networking, a variety of operating systems and client/server data processing techniques
