We're searching for a Medical Affairs Pharmacy Technician — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist the pharmacist with clinical and audit operations at the health plan. This includes calling providers offices or pharmacies, completing data analysis upon request, completing scheduled audits, tracking results, and other miscellaneous scheduled tasks.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Completes oversight and audit activities.
- Assists the pharmacist with conducting vendor oversight and internal process control activities.
- Conducts comprehensive reviews, documents results, and updates dashboard(s).
- Generates required reports. Assists Pharmacist with creating new reports as needed.
- Identifies trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assists Pharmacist with implementing new processes, documenting policies, procedures, and guides.
- Assists with clinical activities, implementing projects, and preparing presentations.
- Keeps immediate supervisor informed.
- Performs other essential functions.

Skills & Requirements
- RPHT - Reg Pharmacy Technician - TX State Board of Pharmacy Required
- CPHT - Cert-pharm. TECH Certification Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Preferred
- 1 Year Experience in Health Plan, PBM Or Other Managed Care Setting Preferred
- 1 Year Experience with Data Analytics, And Familiarity with Microsoft Office Preferred
