We’re searching for an Ultrasonographer OB, Sr, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll use technical, leadership, educational, quality and regulatory knowledge to organize the activities for timely and high-quality delivery of patient care during routine and complex exam completion.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervises routine and specialized examinations, assigns tasks, and inspects completed work to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, institutional and departmental standards, rules, and laws
• Monitors supply inventory and ensures that established stock levels are appropriate. Shortages and/or overages of supplies are to be managed with Supply Chain, and par levels to be adjusted accordingly
• Actively manages workflow in communication with nursing, anesthesia and other impacted parties
• Strict adherence to Joint Commission, ACR or other standards and initiatives and to applicable federal and state guidelines, licensures and policies
• Follows hospital, department and section specific policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols
• Depending on location, responsible for training, and development of staff and students on all new policies, procedures, SOPs
• Ensures clinical research patients are treated with same procedural respect and standards as clinical procedures
• Captures all required information and records correctly 100% of the time
• Greets all patients, visitors and staff in a professional, courteous and respectful manner
• Maintains current required licensure and certifications

Skills & Requirements
• Graduate of a formal diagnostic radiology program required
• Required licenses and certifications
o BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association and
o RDMS-AB - RDMS in Abdomen by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
o RDMS-BR - RDMS in Breast Specialty by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
o RDMS-FE - RDMS in Fetal Echocardiography by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
o RDMS-OB - Reg Diag Med Sonographer OBGYN by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
o RDMS-PS - RDMS in Pedi Sonography by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• 6 years of radiology experience (any/all modalities) required
• A bachelor’s degree in any radiology or healthcare field of study may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience
• A master’s degree in any radiology or healthcare field of study may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience
