We’re looking for a Clinical Support Technician, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position you will perform a variety of duties which may include some or all of the following: daily stocking of bedside carts; transportation of patients safely to and from designated areas; serving as a liaison between the Operating Rooms home department and Sterile Processing Department; transporting of instruments/equipment between locations; inventory control of instrumentation; putting instruments away in appropriate location within the Operating Rooms; use of instrument tracking system; and assisting with picking up and delivering of unit specimens/supplies/items as needed; daily cleaning and  

restocking of unit/clinic; cleaning and maintaining patient equipment; and/or inventory control.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Maintains proper handling and transportation of surgical instruments.

Returns and places supplies, equipment, instruments and/or other department items in appropriate and designated areas per department requirements, as measured by supervisory observation, verbal/written feedback.

Identifies and reports adjustments in supply levels to supervisor and/or any recognized challenges to supervisor, as measured by supervisory observation, verbal/written feedback.

Maintains equipment/instruments daily, ensuring safe handling during transport according to departmental standards and manufacturer’s recommendations.

May ensure adequate supply inventories to perform daily job responsibilities. Utilizes supplies in cost effective manner. May utilize instrument tracking system in order to appropriately account for instrumentation throughout the system.

Stores supplies, equipment, instruments and/or other department items in appropriate and designated areas per department requirements.

Ensures that area is clean and orderly at the end of shift.

Provides patient specimen delivery.

Delivers/retrieves patient-related equipment.

May provide patient transportation depending on home department.

May provide patient transportation depending on home department.

Provides a high level of customer service.

 

Skills & Requirements

2 years related work experience  

A High School Diploma or GED may be substituted for the two (2) years of required experience
