Texas Children’s is seeking a Senior Physician Compensation Consultant to join our team of strategic thinkers and data experts. In this role, you’ll help design and manage equitable, competitive, and transparent compensation programs that support our physicians and drive organizational excellence.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings deep analytical skills, and is fluent in tools like Power BI, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Excel. What You’ll Do

Compensation Strategy & Administration

  • Lead monthly and quarterly compensation modeling to ensure timely, accurate physician pay
  • Administer compensation plans in alignment with contracts, policies, and regulatory standards
  • Manage the physician compensation inbox and track updates using tools like Smartsheet
  • Serve as a key contact for physician pay inquiries and issue resolution
  • Support internal Physician Support Services and ensure timely resolution

Analytics & Power BI Reporting

  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize compensation trends and insights
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and deliver actionable insights to leadership
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and user access within Power BI
  • Create and deliver training materials for leaders and end users

Program Development & Market Analysis

  • Lead compensation projects from market analysis to implementation
  • Benchmark roles, analyze survey data, and recommend pay adjustments
  • Support annual compensation budgeting and executive reporting
  • Participate in compensation surveys and apply findings to internal structures

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, HR, Finance, or related field)
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, finance, analytics, or healthcare operations
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team

Preferred:

  • Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Excel, or other HRIS/analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of physician compensation models, compliance, and incentive structures
  • Strong communication skills—written, visual, and verbal
