Manager of Family Support Services

We are searching for a Manager of Family Support Services -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will manage and lead the daily operations, administrative and human resources activities for volunteer and screener services.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required
• Masters degree preferred
• 5 years' healthcare or patient support services required
• 1 year leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manages daily operations of Volunteer and Screening Services. 
• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with staff, peers and “customer” teams. 
• Develops, maintains and prioritizes departmental based goals/ success indicators in each area of service
• Special business, financial, or operations projects for Support services or other departments as assigned 
• Act as a point of contact for coordination of Friends and Family patients and visitors at the campus 
• Act as a point of contact for the Development department for campus specific needs Accountability 
• Maintains regulatory readiness. 
• Ensures that JC requirements specific to Family Support Services s are fulfilled, 
• Completes timely performance appraisals for direct reports 
• Assures that all staff complete all required training 
• Develops and modifies job descriptions as necessary
