FT Radiology Technician - North Austin

We are searching for a Radiology Technician - Urgent Care -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform radiological exams and perform technical laboratory tests and report results timely to providers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs Radiological Exams
• Performs Laboratory Tests
• Collects Specimens and Performs Laboratory Test
• Reports results to Provider
• Performs quality control procedures, instrument calibration testing, proficiency testing and maintains supply par levels
• Demonstrates commitment to team, flexibility, professional interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and customer service skill
• Administers medication and immunizations

Skills & Requirements

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s unless approved for a medical or religious exemption

Required H.S. Diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelor's Degree

Licenses/Certifications: Required -   MRT - Medical Radiologic Technologist by the State of Texas, BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association. Preferred MT-AMT - Medical Technologist - AMTASCP or AM
