We’re hunting for an Intern - Bachelor's Candidate, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will function in a learning and support position under departmental leadership of the hospital.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepares and assists with special projects for the department leadership and/or project sponsor by agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Completes comprehensive analysis as assigned.
  • Prepares materials and organizes presentations to various constituents and committees. Drafts minutes and summaries as needed. Maintains updated meeting documentation and official records.
  • Coordinates and accurately maintains committee meeting calendars, as assigned.
  • Ensures all committee records and files are updated and organized at all times.  
  • Ensures compliance by participating in regular file audits.
  • Attends other regularly scheduled and required meetings as appropriate (e.g., standing committees, ad hoc committees, meetings specific to current internship, project meetings).

Skills & Requirements

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

  • Required enrollment in a bachelor's program
  • Preferred healthcare experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
