We are searching for a Clinical Program Coordinator with Mind-Body Intervention experience -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will coordinate all activities related to the clinical program. This includes but is not limited to: coordination of all activities related to evaluation and consultation, coordination of Physicians / OR teams for surgical interventions, family communication and education, coordination of multidisciplinary team to assess and care for the patient, care of the inpatients, discharge planning, outpatient follow-up as well as pertinent data management for the program / clinic for research, outcomes and/or reporting purposes.

Responsibilities
•   Provide education to those in need
•   Promote education about the program to physician groups as well as in the community as observed by clinic chief or designee
•   Coordinate all activity necessary for the program/clinic
•   Assure that all patient care and testing are coordinated with consultants and primary care physicians
•   Provide follow-up on patients
•   Coordinate interdisciplinary team conferences to review cases and determine agreed upon plan of care
•   Act as a liaison between the physicians and other staff
•   Establish and maintain good working relationships with patient, patient support system, peers, physicians and other hospital departments
•   Maintain a database of potential patients

Requirements
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption

•   Graduation from an educational program applicable to the program specialty (the area of applicable license)
•   3 years’ licensed clinical experience required
•   LMSW, LCSW, LMSW-AP, LBSW, RD, LD, PT, OT, CCC-SLP, TX-SLP, TXAUDLIC, LPC, MT-BC, ATR, ATR-BC or MBM-CERT (mind-body) license/certification required
•   Experience with mind/body interventions, yoga and/or meditation preferred
