We’re looking for a Senior Health Promotion Specialist, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position you will develop and implement interdisciplinary population based holistic, integrated, "Upstream," cross-professional well-being strategies and programs that address the needs of the entire workforce across the full spectrum of well-being, to equip the workforce team members with necessary life skills and services to be their best selves and help build a strong culture of care, within the values and mission of the Hospital.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as a lead within the department and community for education, outreach, and collaboration to support departmental goals.
Mentors and precepts new staff on community education, program model, and patient first interaction
Initiates and oversees outreach efforts to specific populations
Serves as a lead in a content specific area based on experience and training
Develops, organizes, and implements programs that provide education, outreach, and collaboration aimed at individuals and organization culture change.
Serves as a lead within the department and among other staff to create an infrastructure to support and sustain quality improvement.
Demonstrates commitment to team flexibility, professionalism, and critical thinking.
Coordinates and leads with manager support all aspects associated with assigned projects as needed.
Skills & Requirements
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
Required bachelor's degree in health Promotion, Public Health, Health communication, Nutrition, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychotherapy or Counseling with a preferred master's degree in health Promotion, Public Health, Health communication, Nutrition, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychotherapy or Counseling
Required 5 years' experience in corporate wellness, health promotion, health education, chronic condition management, or weight/nutritional counseling with preferred 2 years' experience in health analytics
CHES or MCHES from National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) preferred
A master's degree in health education, Public Health, or Health Communication will substitute for 2 years of experience
Presentation skills highly preferred
