Summary:
We are searching for a Manager of Support Services -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will ensure the Operating Room/Anesthesiology staff has clinical support in a timely manner, thereby providing ongoing quality service and quality patient care in a cost-effective manner.

Qualifications:
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
Bachelor's Degree
Required 4 years of administrative or business experience in a hospital clinical setting
2 years coordinating and leading projects and people
Responsibilities:
Supervises the proper cleaning and room set-ups of all Operating Rooms and restocking of Anesthesia supplies in a timely manner.
Acts as the liaison between the Department of Anesthesia, Biomed, Plant Engineering, STERIS, Central Distribution, and Operating Room in procuring supplies and equipment.
Assures that needed patient equipment is maintained and working properly for specific areas as requested by nurses, managers, and physicians. Reviews monthly all Biomed reports for maintenance, regularly scheduled PMS, etc.
Informs O.R./Anesthesiology staff of developments that adversely affect the care of the patient (e.g. back orders, deletions, and new products) and acquires appropriate items to improve the delivery of patient care.
Ensures cost-effective use of supplies, equipment, and personnel. Submits capital budget requests/justifications by designated time frame
