We are looking for a Revenue Integrity Specialist, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position you will participate in all Revenue Integrity-related tasks and/or projects as assigned by the leader for hospital and professional billing accounts. This incumbent is also responsible for participating in initiatives to improve or optimize charge capture efficiency by utilizing knowledge of revenue cycle principles and their role in the generation of revenue to ensure accurate and compliant billing; reconciling and monitoring charges for assigned departments against source documents to ensure charges are accurately and completely captured while serving both internal and external customers.

Required H.S. Diploma or GED
CHRI - Certified Healthcare Revenue Integrity Professional by the National Association of Healthcare Revenue Integrity (NAHRI) Or

RHIA - Cert-Reg Health Inform. Admins by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

CCS - Cert-Cert Coding Specialist by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA)

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Performs charge review and charge reconciliation to evaluate opportunities to implement charge capture best practices.
Identify and resolve charge errors and missing charges as identified through reporting and work queues.
Conducts research on charge errors through the identification of root cause and communicates process improvement opportunities.
Runs revenue analytics to support revenue monitoring, issue investigation, and resolution.
Identifies opportunities to automate charge capture or improve on current workflow when appropriate.
Coordinates efforts for gross charge variances with all Revenue Cycle departments as appropriate.
Develop measures to track, trend, and monitor charge sessions.
Provides consistent and clear feedback to the internal consultants.
