We are searching for a Facilities Project Manager II – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll plan and manage the outcomes of renovations and construction projects and assist departments in developing estimates and budgets for proposed construction projects.

  • Working knowledge of regulatory building codes
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, construction, or project management preferred)
  • 3 years’ project managing experience in the design and/or construction industries is required
  • Project experience in healthcare preferred


  • Lead project management process through pre-design, funding, design, pricing/purchasing, construction, occupancy, and closeout steps
  • Develop and review project scope, budget, and schedule
  • Manage internal and external resources to assist in planning, designing, and documenting project design
  • Manage construction in accordance with Interim Life Safety Measures, Infection Control, and other regulatory requirements
  • Process final payments, close project budget, and ensure that all project documentation is distributed to the appropriate departments
  • Ensure full scope of project is distributed to all parties involved
  • Follow guidelines that adhere to City of Houston Building Code, Life Safety Code 101, Texas Accessibility Standards, and Texas Department of State Health Services
