We are looking for a Business Process Engineer to facilitate complex, cross-departmental strategic projects adhering to an established project management methodology and utilizing a variety of performance improvement strategies (e.g. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FEMA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Lean Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard, etc.).This role is dedicated to the Health Plan side of Texas Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate would come from an Industrial Engineering background and be Lean Six Sigma Certified.

Responsibilities :

  • Functions as a Project Facilitator
  • Performs and manages assessments for current or potential initiatives
  • Researches management, financial, industry and market trends and innovations
  • summarizes results of assessments and makes recommendations

- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 years experience in process improvement, training,mentoring, education, healthcare (clinical or administrative) and/or project management

Knowledge of:

•  The healthcare market, word processing and spread sheet software, quality improvement concepts, financial and data analysis.
•  Ability to utilize data management and presentation software, analysis of workflow and financial data, communicate effectively (including oral, written and interpersonal communications), demonstrate organizational awareness, highly
motivated, demonstrate initiative and manage projects to completion.
