Texas Children’s has been expanding in Austin since March 2018, when we opened Texas Children’s Urgent Care West Gate, providing high quality pediatric-focused care after hours and on weekends. There are now more than 10 Texas Children’s Pediatric primary care practices in the greater Austin area bringing world-class pediatric services to children and their families. Our Specialty Care Center in Austin includes a multidisciplinary group of pediatric specialists committed to providing comprehensive care across a wide spectrum of services, including allergy and immunology, cardiology, ophthalmology, rheumatology, pulmonology, neurology, and more. Set to open in 2024, the North Austin Campus will be a 52 bed, 365,000 square foot hospital for children and women. The hospital and its 170,000 square foot adjacent outpatient building will be designed, equipped, and staffed exclusively to provide care in more than 25 areas of specialty care for children and women. North Austin facilities include emergency center rooms, outpatient exam rooms, radiology rooms, operating rooms, acute care beds, pediatric, cardiovascular, and neonatal intensive care units, as well as women’s services and a fetal center. Summary:

We are searching for a Technical Support Analyst II-- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide complex system-level support of multi-user operating systems hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Respond to client inquiries concerning system operation and diagnose system hardware, software, and client problems 
  • Perform complex problem solving and assistance on diverse clinical and business software applications and hardware systems for department users 
  • Perform complex problem resolution and provide on-call support for computer \ network systems 
  • Serve as lead analyst in a design subgroup when appropriate, directing and integrating the work of one or two lower-level analysts, each responsible for several programs 
  • Serve as a project member for technology projects with large scope and broad impact, directing and integrating the work of technical staff members 
  • Document projects and write and maintain user instructions 
  • Provide in-depth technical assistance and maintenance support to the departmental end user 
  • Provide instruction and training to users and other employees on day-to-day procedures 
  • Provide technical solutions for research and development initiatives and in the implementation of new technologies. 
  • Assist in development and maintenance of group’s statistical reports and analyze management needs regarding the use of integrated data processing equipment or operations and processes 
  • Generate reports from call tracking and provide management with reports and graphics depicting current group’s performance with emphasis on improvement area 

 



Qualifications:

  • Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s unless approved for a medical or religious exemption 
  • H.S. Diploma or GED with preferred Technical diploma and a Bachelor's Degre 
  • 5 years experience in a related field or a bachelor's degree will substitute for 4 years of experience
