We are searching for an Assistant Director of Pathology Informatics -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be responsible as the Service Owner for Epic Beaker, Data Innovations, WellSky, Sysmex WAM, Telcor, Maestro, web applications, and related middleware and laboratory systems, including data reporting. In the role of Service Owner, the position is expected to maintain performance within agreed-upon service levels, manage and develop service, continuously improve the quality of service, and work with Leadership to implement and retire services. This job provides support for laboratory and Pathology systems for all laboratories across the TCH system by helping to plan, lead and maintain an effective information systems network. As such, this job will support the electronic health record, Epic Beaker, and Epic Bugsy, and lead the production and development of data reporting, digital pathology, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning activities of the laboratory system. Additionally, the Assistant Director of Pathology Information Systems will provide support for short and long-term planning, education, training, and utilization of Laboratory Information Systems across the Pathology Department.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a clinical degree (e.g. BSN, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology)
• Required 8 years of Information systems management experience, preferred Management experience, and Pathology Lab or Clinical experience
• Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience
• Direct work experience at the Epic Systems Corporation © will be counted at a premium, with every 1 year of Epic Systems Corporation © experience counted as 2 years of experience.
