We are searching for an Assistant Director of Enterprise Systems -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide support to the Director of Enterprise Systems in planning, directing, overseeing support operations and maintaining effective Information Systems. This position is responsible as the Service Owner for Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM, Oracle Integration Cloud, and other applications in the ERP/HCM ecosystem. In the role of Service Owner, the position is expected to maintain performance within agreed upon service levels, manage and develop service, continuously improve the quality of service, and work with leadership to implement and retire services.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and service agreements
  • Provides leadership, training, and develops the operations teams by addressing staffing, recruiting, personnel issues and operational issues
  • Develops departmental policies and procedures as they relate to the information system as necessary and reviews existing policies and procedures for accuracy at least annually
  • Provides support to Director of Enterprise Systems in developing and maintaining the applications and integrated systems and relationships to ensure service provided by department operations and with regards to customer service
  • Participates in and directs strategic planning and Enterprise-wide data planning as it relates to project management and service level management
  • Reviews and modifies the department strategic plan, developing and implementing new initiatives, as it relates to Information System with the department Director of Infrastructure Technology Services
  • Ensures data integrity for all Services by adhering to defined change management processes and policies


Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or information technology preferred
  • Completion of the ITIL Version 3 Foundation Exam preferred
  • 8 years Enterprise Systems experience which includes five years of experience in information systems selection, implementation, application, or IS support required
  • Four years of experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM, as well as Oracle Integration Cloud, preferred.
  • Management experience preferred
