Summary:

We are searching for an Epic Cadence Senior Systems Analyst with Epic Customer Relationship Management (CRM also known as Cheers) and Decision Tree implementation experience who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will have a major role in developing Epic application solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within Texas Children's Integrated Delivery System. Responsibilities :

  • Translate users’ needs into detail requirement specifications
  • Facilitate and support Epic system installation through the implementation cycle
  • Perform configuration analysis for system design
  • Analyze system problems and modifications
  • Coordinate implementation and upgrades of systems
  • Participate in the IDS Committee as an IS representative
  • Develop, schedule and facilitate test plans for software, network, integration, user acceptance and parallel usage
  • Facilitate design analysis with users to determine configuration for the user interface
  • Analyze business use of existing systems to identify problem to be resolved and define system applications or process improvements
  • Represent Epic Application Support as a participating member of designated committee


Qualifications:

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business/healthcare administration, or a related field preferred
  • 9 years’ experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support required
  • Epic certification is preferred
