We are searching for a Neurophysiology Supervisor — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll supervise staff in the Clinical EEG Laboratories; promote program development; assist in daily operations related to the provision of EEG services; provide clinical direction to the EEG technologists, Tech Associates, and students; and provide patient care in a developmentally and age appropriate manner for patients ages 0 – adulthood within the scope of demonstrated clinical competencies.

Responsibilities :

• Supervises technologists and other staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of the EEG lab
• Coordinates EEG staffing schedules
• Performs EEG testing and ensures quality of EEG studies
• Demonstrates a mastery of technical and procedural requirements to consistently produce high quality neurodiagnostic EEG studies
• Adapts all procedures to clinical circumstances; monitors and/or eliminates causes of artifact; and consistently and properly labels recordings
• Attends health, safety and training in-services and other mandatory Hospital activities
• Provides quality Electroencephalographic (EEG) data analysis and supervises technical operation


Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption


  • H.S. Diploma or GED
    • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
    • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist from the American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists
    • Certificate of Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
    • 4 years of Clinical experience in Neurophysiology
    • 5 years of Neurodiagnostic testing is preferred
    • 2 years of Clinical pediatric experience is preferred
