We are searching for an Ultrasound Educator RVT - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide education and administrative support for department operation under the supervision of the Department Manager and ensure effective and efficient implementation of the six key education processes at the department level and assist in the implementation of designated centralized components of the key education al processes. The six key education processes are: orientation, annual competence assessment, preceptor orientation and development, required training, ongoing development, and student affiliations. Job responsibilities will be split between patient care and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise Routine and Specialized examinations, assigns tasks, and inspect completed work to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, institutional and departmental standards, rules, and laws
• Monitor supply inventory and ensure that established stock levels are appropriate - shortages and/or overages of supplies are to be managed with Supply Chain, and par levels to be adjusted accordingly
• Ensure the design, implementation, and evaluation of a cost-effective department orientation process that focuses on knowledge, skills, and relationships
• Assist leadership in designing, implementing, and evaluating, on an annual basis, a cost-effective department-based orientation pathway as measured by feedback from the Leadership team
• Develop, implement, and sustain a department-based process for the orientation, professional development, and support of preceptors as measured by feedback from orientees, preceptors, and the Leadership team
• Coordinate the annual assessment and validation of priority high-risk skills and annual competencies
• Coordinate/Conduct required training to close performance gaps in knowledge and skills
• Implement a department plan for advancing competence of staff on all shifts that results in improved performance
• Coordinate the department clinical experience for students
• Participate in the QA/QC process
• Provide administrative support for unit-based operations


• Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
• Technical diploma for a formal diagnostic radiology program and bachelor’s degree required
• 6 years’ ultrasound experience required
• BLS and RVT and RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, or RDMS-PS certifications/licenses required
