Summary:

We are searching for an Urgent Care Coordinator - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll act as an Administrative Liaison for Texas Children's Urgent Care to ensure deadlines are met in a timely fashion, participate in department PI by identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with the team to ensure departmental goals are met.

Responsibilities :

  • Effectively coordinate the daily operations of an Urgent Care by utilizing communication and customer service skills
  • Coordinate provider and staff schedules with Medical Director and managers
  • Coordinate Requests from CBO
  • Prepare reports as directed and track compliance adherence
  • New Staff Onboarding
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies Maintenance
  • Meet all internal and external customer expectations by acting as liaison to all services practicing at the Urgent Care as well as all referring physician offices
  • Work with Medical Director to create monthly Physician and Advanced Practice Provider schedule for all sites
  • Gather requested patient information to complete billing from CBO and respond to requests timely
  • Collect and maintain accurate data for daily, weekly and/ monthly reporting for quality oversight purposes for each Urgent care site
  • Monitor new employee paperwork/training requirements and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
  • Report any equipment request from services and obtains approval for ordering to Manager of the Urgent Care


Qualifications:

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business preferred
  • 4 years’ administrative and/or healthcare experience required
