We are searching for a Senior Organizational Resilience Advisor -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will be responsible for leading the Organizational Resilience Lifecycle for all of our organization’s entities with particular emphasis on a campus and related entities in a geographic area or a specific line of business. The lifecycle includes both Emergency Management and Business Continuity activities working with senior operational leaders to support the annual Hazard Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA), supporting the development of training and exercise priorities based on the HVA/BIA and directives from senior leadership, supporting and conducting exercises, complete AfterAction Reports and Corrective Action Reviews after all plan exercises and activations of Incident Command. The main focus of this role will be business continuity.

Responsibilities :

  • Conducts hazard vulnerability assessment and business impact assessment
  • Responsible for emergency management and business continuity plan development and updates
  • Plans emergency management and business continuity exercises
  • Delivers plan or department specific training related to Emergency Management (Incident Command, Evacuation, Decontamination, etc.)
  • Maintains documentation, materials and member lists for volunteer decontamination teams where required
  • Represents the organization at emergency management and business continuity events
  • Performs crisis management/incident management as part of the Crisis Management Team
  • Supports implementation of Organizational Resilience technologies for campus or business unit


  • Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is required for all employees unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline required
  • Bachelor’s degree in disaster preparedness, emergency management or business preferred
  • Master’s degree in disaster preparedness or emergency management preferred
  • CEM from the International Association of Emergency Managers preferred
  • CBCP, CHPCP or MBCP from the Disaster Recovery Institute International preferred
  • 7 years healthcare emergency management, corporate business continuity, IT disaster recovery, or crisis management required
  • A master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience
