Summary:

We are searching for a Business Systems Analyst -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will have a role in developing clinical/business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions and to manage the on-going maintenance of applications. This role will investigate processes to meet end user needs within the organization. Additionally, you will provide financial systems support, coordinate system upgrades, and to provide other system support.

Responsibilities :

 Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with internal core stakeholders to identify system issues and process needs, and ensures EMR and other systems are being optimized
  • Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations
  • Reviews and tests systems for conformance to functional and performance requirements
  • Develops, schedules and facilitates test plans for hardware, network, integration, user acceptance and parallel usage for end-users
  • Analyzes use of existing systems to identify and resolve problems
  • Recommends modifications to application design or current procedures to maximize advantages of existing resources
  • Develops and maintains training materials and training environment for systems training


Qualifications:

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.

 

Skills & Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or nursing preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in information systems preferred
