We are searching for a Senior Systems Analyst with Epic HB or PB Resolute experience that works well in a fast-past environment. In this position, you will develop business solutions by collaborating with operations to understand workflow and then identify the best solution to maximize automation and EPIC functionality.


This position will focus on building maintaining Revenue Cycle workflows within Epic. For this role, relevant experience includes:

  • Epic Resolute Hospital Billing
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing
  • Epic Hospital/Professional Claims

Responsibilities :

  • Identify system and application needs and analyze current business practices, user needs, and work flow processes
  • Perform vendor analysis and make recommendations and investigate alternative solutions (including feasibility studies)
  • Establish project governance and facilitate steering and work meetings
  • Update and maintain the project implementation plan
  • Develop, schedule, and facilitate test plans for software, network, integration, user acceptance, and parallel usage
  • Partner with training to ensure materials aligns to workflows and current functionality
  • Obtain user acceptance and sign off based on functional and performance requests
  • Demonstrate efficiencies of new systems as well as identify the impacts and new dependencies
  • Facilitate design analysis with users to determine appropriate configuration
  • Identify and document the data sources, recipients, and workflows that need to be developed to support system maintenance
  • Coordinate the upgrade schedules with vendors and users across the integrated delivery system
  • Arrange the appropriate resources for each project and assist with problems if they arise


  • Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 8 years major system design and implementation experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience
  • Master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience
  • Up to two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis
  • EPIC Certification in Hospital Resolute or Professional Resolute preferred
