We are searching for a Manager of Cost Accounting -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist the Assistant Director of Decision Support by coordinating and managing the functions of the Cost Accounting team as well as associated analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership on the costing process and to make refinements and necessary corrections to the existing costing methods
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new tools to enable improved costing accuracy and reporting
  • Leads the identification and definition of key costing statistics, design of data models and information flow
  • Assesses the key cost indicators for wide-impact initiatives to recommend targeted action
  • Organizes meetings with department managers/leaders to provide education on the costing methods
  • Leads the cost accounting team on the department reviews and provide guidance on the allocation of the expenses
  • Plans, leads, and prepares other types of costing and financial analysis as directed by the Assistant Director of Decision Support

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or healthcare administration preferred
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or healthcare administration preferred
• 5 years cost accounting or decision support analytics experience, including 1 year of supervisory or project lead experience required
• A master’s degree in accounting or finance will substitute for 2 years of experience

• Hospital or Healthcare experience highly preferred.
