We are searching for a Data Operations Engineer - Data Modeling/Data Visualization - Heart Center-  someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will lead integrated, complex projects and  manage the ongoing build and maintenance of data marts and reporting visualizations. This role will investigate processes to understand data, workflow, and communication to meet end user needs within clinical departments by working closely with the Information Services (IS) data and reporting team. Additionally, this role will provide systems support, communicate system updates, and provide other system support as needed to its assigned department.


This role will focus on supporting the data needs for our Heart Center. Preferred experience for this role include - 

  • Previous experience with Data Modeling 
  • Proficiency with data visualization/data analytics tools such as Qlikview, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Proficiency with SQL Server

Responsibilities :

  • Analyzes and coordinates the designing of new & existing applications to support clinical business operations
  • Works with the IS data and analytics team to research, document and help resolve any system issues and maintains documentation of resolution
  • Analyzes clinical & business use of existing systems to identify problem to be resolved and defines system applications or process improvements
  • Communicates/Collaborates with IS Data and Analytics team to manage testing and approval of updates/upgrades and modifications
  • Collaborates with end users, other departments and the IS data and reporting team as needed to help and/or lead development of any new processes that demonstrate success
  • Facilitates improvements and actively seeks ways to use technology to improve productivity and business processes
  • Represents operational department as a participating member of designated committees

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, business or technology field required
  • Master’s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, business or technology field preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in information systems management, physician practice management, and/or other related operational or clinical field required
  • Master’s Degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other business or technology field may substitute for two years of required experience
