Summary:
We are searching for a full-time Sleep Technology Specialist in The Woodlands, Tx -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide technical support in the patient care area in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages of patients served (0 to 18 years) and adults as necessary.
Qualifications:
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
Required High school diploma or GED required. Preferred graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sleep program
Licenses and Certifications:
BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association
RPSGT - Reg Polysomnographic Technolog by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
AND one additional certification as:
CCSH - Cert Clinical Sleep Health by the Board of Clinical Sleep Health
REEGT - Reg Electroencephalogra Tech by the Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologists
RST - Registered Sleep Technologist by the American Board of Sleep Medicine
RRT CERT - Cert-Reg Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care
4 + years’ experience in pediatric sleep medicine, including one 1-year experience in formal teaching OR as a formal TCH preceptor
