Summary:
We are searching for a Senior Contracts Specialist — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide skilled professional duties relating to the initiation and completion of contractual arrangements and other contracts assigned and entered into by, and on behalf of, internal entities. You will coordinate vendor selection, contract initiation, negotiation, and contract review and approval processes for business arrangements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
Juris Doctorate preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in contracting, preferably in a health care environment
Juris Doctorate may substitute for 3 years experience
Responsibilities:
Reviews, negotiates, drafts, and facilitates assigned contracts and amendments
Coordinates meetings and collaborates with end-users, reviewing parties and other stakeholders to outline, verify, and document roles, scope of work specifications, timelines and expectations
Coordinates the review of draft contracts by end users, reviewing parties and other stakeholders
Responds to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner within one business day of receipt of inquiry. Assists customers, promptly securing answers and resolutions to their contract-related inquiries
Possesses and demonstrates knowledge of contracting concepts (including offer, acceptance, and consideration), Uniform Commercial Code and the consequences of employing certain contract terms
Effectively utilizes document management and versioning tools to enable effective collaboration between parties involved in contract review
Collaborates with other Contract Specialists to improve effectiveness of the Contract Administration function
