Summary:
We are searching for a Business Analyst — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform process, procedure, and forms analysis and design within the department in order to enable a better integration of functional and technical processes and to provide quality improvements and measurements within business processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Participates in work groups/ focus groups
Performs analyses of various reports to compose summaries, business plans, PowerPoint presentations and/or recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
Performs integrated analysis of chargemasters and various financial reports and determine departmental needs.
Develops summaries of financial analysis and makes recommendations to leadership team.
Obtains and maintains knowledge of regulatory information with TCH team members
Ensures inclusion of regulatory changes in various analyses
Ensures that end-users of the processes are properly trained in the use of existing processes on an on-going basis so that processes and procedures are not forgotten.
Conducts training of new or updated processes and procedures and instructs end-users on new uses of forms and fields in the system so that all users are constantly kept up-to-date on any changes to the system.
Surveys end-users on a regular basis to address users questions, concerns or suggestions about existing processes or improvements. Establish a network to improve processes. Network outside department.
Conducts an on-going audit of processes, reports and analyses as well as documentation so that the information is readily available and correct when needed. Evaluates trending data and recommends changes.
Develops system in collaboration with other leadership team members for maintaining appropriate consultative approach between departments.
Collaborates with leadership team to identify, facilitate, and participate in performance improvement program to enhance patient care delivery systems and/or reporting mechanisms.
Skills & Requirements
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
Bachelor's Degree Required
3 years experience with business operations, systems development or business related analytic and communications experience.
**SQL experience and Cactus knowledge highly desired and preferred**
