We’re searching for an Applications Architect (Healthcare experienced) -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will review application requirements, application and processing architectures and designs, develops, amends, optimizes, and certifies application and system design of Integrated Delivery Systems, responsible for the identification and resolution of the application information flow, the application integration and the required infrastructure to support application requirements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Analyze and coordinate designing of new & existing applications and architectures of Integrated Delivery System systems.
· Coordinate new development and make sure it is consistent and well-integrated with existing information data structure.
· Lead and engage in business analysis, information acquisition analysis and design, data access analysis and design, archive and recovery strategy, security, and change management.
· Appraise effectiveness of systems flow, data usage, and manual or automated processes to identify ineffectiveness or inefficiency of the system.
· Develop, design, and modify technical specifications for the Integrated Delivery System.
· Coordinates the design and analysis of the implementation of new systems and the modifications of existing systems.
· Coordinate/implement and controls the configuration and development of systems.
· Administer program and system tests.
· Develop system documentation.
· Maintain systems.
· Coordinate activities and information dissemination with manager, other Information Services personnel, users and vendors.
· Research technology trends/directions.
Skills & Requirements
· H.S. Diploma or GED required
· Master's degree in science preferred
· 10 years major system design & implementation experience required
· Management or project leadership preferred
· Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience. Master’s degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience. Up to two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis.
Highly preferred: 10 years major system design & implementation experience in healthcare.
