We’re looking for a Perioperative Care Technician, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, you will assist the perioperative team in acquiring, preparing, and applying supplies, instrumentation, and equipment necessary to performing perioperative procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the availability of age-appropriate surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
- Obtains daily room assignment after report. Informs surgical team that he/she will be the assigned PCT after assignments are made. Periodically checks with the circulating nurse during the procedure for any needs.
- Retrieves recovery room cribs/beds outside the OR room for each patient prior to the patient transport to the monitored unit and assists with transport.
- Delivers sterile and unsterile instrumentation/equipment, linen, and supply setups as designated by the surgical procedure.
- Anticipates equipment/instrument/supply needs based on the patient age and procedure; retrieves items and safely sets up equipment during room setup as assigned by the circulating nurse.
- Demonstrates aseptic and sterile technique for all supplies, instrumentation, and equipment according to AORN Standards of Practice and OSHA guidelines.
- Assists with maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.
- Completes other departmental surgical service duties as assigned by the Manager/Service Coordinator.

Skills & Requirements
- Required H.S. Diploma or GED
- Preferred 1 year Healthcare experience
