Academic Coordinator

We are searching for an Academic Coordinator (Medicine Lab) – someone coordinate and support all academic functions for department faculty. Will also assist practice administrator and administrative supervisor with Chief's priorities for the department.

Qualifications:
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children’s, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
H.S. Diploma or GED required.
BS Degree preferred.
5 years experience in coordinating or supporting academic functions required.
Responsibilities:
Supports departmental communications & other job-related functions
Conducts departmental audits and quality improvement activities
Supports all departmental BCM HR functions
Coordinates academic activities
Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must be trained and knowledgeable of audience response software
Must be trained and knowledgeable of SharePoint software
Proficient in MS Office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
